Just like FragBar, My contract with Heavenly Deserts was as needed. One of my biggest flexes is that Heavenly Deserts was visited by a popular influencer by the name Abdu Rozik and he's own team reached out to me to grab content from them while they were here.
When Heavenly Desserts launched their Mississauga location, they wanted content that captured the aesthetic appeal of the store and the wow-factor of their desserts. I worked closely with their team to create visually stunning, platform-friendly content.
Shot and edited a range of vertical short-form videos showcasing key menu items, store design, and customer experience
Built a TikTok content rollout that played into food trends, ambiance, and luxury plating
Helped shape a visual identity that was both elegant and engaging, focusing on slow-motion dessert pours, close-up textures, and vibrant lighting
Worked with the brand’s requested themes and added creative direction to match trending styles and audio formats
Results:
Videos on TikTok began pulling 10K+ views, with strong retention due to scroll-stopping visuals
In-store customers began referencing videos they saw online — a clear boost in organic reach
Helped establish Heavenly Desserts Mississauga as a premium dessert spot with a content strategy to match its luxury branding
So here comes the bad news. Since Heavenly Deserts is a franchise, the Mississauga heartland location owners opened up their own social media pages, including Instagram and TikTok. We started making content based on videos, Photos, Location Photos, menus, and Food. The issue came when the Instagram account and TikTok started getting over 500K views a month. The heavenly Deserts headquarters based in Europe for some reason, didn't like how popular the social media pages were getting and ended up contacting the Mississauga location and forcing them to take it down, saying things like "they wanted to keep all content streamlined onto 1 website, 1 Instagram and 1 TikTok account". That instantly meant that my contract term with them had to come to an immediate stop since the pages and website were taken down. Since I operated on their Google accounts, I did lose a significant amount of content once the accounts were deleted and what I uploaded above is all I was able to find on a 2-year-old hard drive. and in the media world, 2 years of content means over 100,000 files.
